Born in Fort Worth, Corey Cannon, a wide eyed little boy with humor and wit, would surprise the world with his superman approach to life. Raised in Texas Corey would embraced a cowboys life without limits. It all started at home, Corey's parents would instill the life skills and values any hard working man would need to survive on a farm, a construction site, and most importantly introducing Corey to a relationship with God. As God would have it, Corey's physical, mental and spiritual strengths would cater to his passions, transforming Corey's cowboy hat to many hats in his future. Opportunity began to show itself at Corey's young age as life's adventures lead him to training in sports, stuntman ship, strength training and acting. When the reality of financial stability set in, Corey decided to even the playing field, and attended The University of North Texas earning a degree in Environmental Science, Emergency Administration, and Kinesiology. Corey is now a successful owner of a house building and a land development company, both generating revenue. Dedication and hard work lent itself to accomplishment, allowing Corey to take up other passions such as scuba diving, more stunt training, traveling the world, he even earned a pilot license, adding to his stuntman and actors resume. Corey's creative building will now take back a seat to the creative entertainer he was born to be. Anyone that has met Corey has had a big chuckle. No one meets him and walks away un-entertained. He's tough but has a gentle soul, and gifted with the talent of ten. Corey's love for God, and contributions to community have come back to open doors, ten fold. Catching the eye of talent manager Twila Barnett, she signed him with LMTalent agency catapulting him further into the film industry. Still owning a Superman approach to life, Corey has now made his way from set to set, acting, writing, producing, and choreographing stunts for film. He's worked on films such as "Assassin 33AD" where he sports a Greek dialogue, worked as a stunt rescue driver for the Bravo Network, a sniper for the Jerry Bruck-heimer TV series "Chase", "Vindication" as Officer Banks, "Old Broads", and more! Although Corey has jumped in "full force" and moving forward, he's not the type to forget his roots. Currently(2019) Corey is a staff member and sponsor at Weatherford Acting, Film and Stunt Academy, giving back where he got his start. Corey also contributes to a brother and sisterhood of dreamers, pitching in where he can, helping others just like him with dedication to their dreams and their craft.
