Gail Soltys can currently be seen in Nickelodeon's American telenovela-formatted teen sitcom, "Talia in the Kitchen" playing lead role as Debbie Fuccinelli. The TV series premiered on Nickelodeon on July 6, 2015 and centers on the story of a teenage chef, Talia Parra (played by Maria Quezada) who moves in with her grandmother and wants to reopen her family's restaurant called Lola's. Along the way, Talia finds out that her father's spices have magical powers to control people's emotions if put in the right hands, and Talia has the power just like her father did. In the show, Debbie's family also owns a prestigious restaurant called Fuccinelli's and they want to remain the number one restaurant in the area. Debbie and her cousin Frenchie (played by Miguel Luciano) will do anything they can to keep Talia and her friends from reopening Lola's. There is a rivalry between the restaurants, and especially between Talia and Debbie, because they both want to be the best chefs in Miami. Debbie is popular, prestigious, royal, funny, talented, and known for being a bit of a food snob. Although caring and loving, Debbie can also be the villainous if she has to be, and will do almost anything to stay on top. She is very protective of her family, friends, and restaurant. She will stop at nothing to keep her family's restaurant on par and to be the greatest chef in the city. Debbie's twin brother, Tyson (played by Liam Obergfoll), has a crush on Talia, so it makes things very interesting. There is love, magic, friendships, mischief, and lots of laughs! The show just finished filming its first season.Being a successful actor has always been Gail's dream and at seven years old, Gail asked her parents to be an actress. Three years later, in a process she will never forget, she got an agent and started acting classes. Before her debut on "Talia in the Kitchen," Gail modeled, appeared in numerous national print and internet campaigns, and built her acting resume by working in several commercials and short films. One of Gail's first and most impressionable experiences filming was as an extra in a Sea World commercial. She enjoyed filming the commercial so much, it made her realize that she wanted to be in front of the camera more, and inspired her to work harder, learn more, and strive towards her goal to be a successful actress and be on the big screen alongside esteemed actors. Gail is passionate about acting and knows she wants to do it forever.Born and raised in Central Florida, Gail loves the beach, fishing, paddle boarding, body surfing, and boogie boarding. She also loves sports, both playing and watching; baseball, football, hockey, and softball. Gail is an Aunt and Godmother to her three-year-old nephew, Landon, and has three sisters! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and 16-year-old black cat named Tootsie. One of her favorite activities to do with her sisters is to watch movies. For fun, Gail also likes to watch makeup tutorials and she still takes acting classes even when she is not filming! She loves all things fashion and music - she is a fan of old and new, rock, country, hip-hop even classical depending on her mood. Her favorites include Stevie Nicks, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, 50 cent and Beyoncé, to name a few. Gail recently began making her own music, as she has picked up playing guitar!Gail loves kids, helping people, and giving back to the community. She recently took part in the St. Jude walk in Miami. She also enjoys giving clothes to her local church a few times a year and participates in bringing bedding and toys to the children's home that is in her community during the holidays. Hide
