Joel completed his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Drama at the University of Pretoria and landed a lead role in a soap Egoli where he performed in over 300 episodes before crossing the Atlantic to work in Australia. Since being in Australia Joel has worked on both local and international projects. His career highlights recently include the Films Godzilla vs Kong by Warner Brothers and Monster Problems by Paramount Pictures.His childhood was rough and certainly not ideal and apart from having one less piece of cheese than a church mouse he attended 13 different schools growing up. The constant "reinventing" of himself in each new environment was probably the reason for his journey into the acting world. Hide
