He took part in the Chinese survival show Idol Producer and debuted as a member of Chinese boy group Nine Percent as a vocalist.Following Nine Percent's planned disbanding in October 2019, Li-Nong Chen signed with Universal Music a month later, becoming the youngest singer on the label.
