Bruce was born in North Vancouver but then moved to Prince Rupert. When he was in elementary school, his family moved to Vernon, British Columbia in the Okanagan Valley, where he lived until going to the University of British Columbia. He met Heather when they were in Junior High School together, but didn't start a romance until he was in University. They were married in 1987 and have been living in Vancouver ever since. Hide
